The uniqueness of SARTHAK TV in creating content which connected too well with the Odia audience was seen not only in Reality Shows but also in its Mega Serials TO AGANARA TULASI MU, PARI, BADHU, MANINI & SINDURA BINDU which have been topping the charts in Prime Time since quite some time now in both Urban & Rural markets.
Believing in the basic principle of "Content is King", SARTHAK TV was pivotal in bringing a turnaround in the Odisha Television Industry and reducing Hindi spill over by starting reality show concepts based on simple Odia traditions and festivals. Starting with "Rajo Queen", which was based on an age old 3 day festival celebrated by unmarried Odia girls and on which no other channel ever could imagine making a Reality Show, SARTHAK topped the charts with mind boggling ratings, and followed up with Grihalakshmi & Sunabohu. Already proven a pioneer it gave a platform to common Odia girls aspiring to be actresses by its reality show "Mu Bi Heroine Hebi" wherein the winners got to make their acting debut in movies made by Sarthak and also a platform to young aspiring singers through "SWARA ODISHARA". It also brought in "Bhagya Badaliba Puni Thare" which is based on simple fun games played by Odia people in their childhood and which gives them a chance to win cars as well as foreign trips. All Reality shows of SARTHAK TV are into Season II and III respectively in subsequent years.
On 1st Sep 2015 Sarthak TV completed a highly successful journey of 5 Years, on 15th July 2015 Zee Entertainment Enterprises Limited (ZEEL) announced in principle decision to acquire 100% equity stake in Sarthak Entertainment Pvt. Ltd., subject to requisite regulatory approvals.

With the love and acceptance of Odiya viewers, the channel has taken an oath to come up with many more entertaining programmes in days to come.
